At The Pines of Newmarket, we believe in the power of community. We strive to foster close-knit relationships among our residents and our senior care staff through engaging activities, such as happy hours, exercise classes, and unique WOW! Moments. We also believe that an important aspect of community is forming connections with our Newmarket neighbors. With nearly two decades of experience, The Pines of Newmarket has an established reputation as an active member of the wider community. Our residents participate in local veteran groups, host student choirs, and partake in numerous volunteer opportunities in an effort to give back.

April Bourdon

Executive Director

April received her bachelor’s degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire and has held numerous management positions. Prior to working at the Pines, April managed an end-of-life care facility, which gave her greater understanding of life and how precious each day is. April brings this knowledge with her, which enables her to help residents enjoy their lives each day to the fullest.


Gail Bukowski

Activities Director

Gail is a New Hampshire native and has lived in Exeter, NH since 2007. Outside of her work as activities director at the Pines of Newmarket, Gail volunteers with the Pease Air Force Base family support program and has received the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Gail is a master gardener, runner and avid reader, and she enjoys biking on the weekends. Gail loves sharing her love of the outdoors with the residents!


Sherry Pomeroy

Business Office Manager

Since 2000, Sherry has been working very closely with residents and families throughout the admission process, and she works on a daily basis to ensure a nurturing homelike environment. As a life-long resident of Newmarket, NH, Sherry knows many of the residents before they even move in! What makes Sherry smile at work? “I love coming in to work every day to see the residents,” she says. “They are all so appreciative of everything we do for them that it makes you feel good about the care we provide. Each day is a very rewarding experience.”


Emilee Lavigne

Community Relations Director

Before coming to the Pines of New Market, Emilee worked in administration across incredibly diverse industries, from firearms to horse racing. She’s trained Standardbred race horses and shares her varied interests and experiences with our residents. When she’s not spreading her love of our community, she enjoys running, cycling, horseback riding and spending time with family and friends.


Amy Montebianchi

Food Service Director

Amy joins the Pines' team after working with seniors in local communities and assisting them with resources for healthy living. She truly enjoys working with seniors and brings that passion to the kitchen at The Pines of Newmarket. Her specialty? Creating homemade meals for our family of 55 residents. In her spare time, Amy enjoys walking on the beach, hanging out with her two cats, and spending time with her two children and six grandchildren. One of their favorite pastimes is visiting the local SPCA and taking the dogs for a walk.

Stephanie Bane

Health Services Director & RN

Stephanie has been working in senior health care since 2004, and in 2012, she graduated from the New Hampshire Technical Institute with an associate’s degree in nursing. She has particular experience working with residents who have dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, and enjoys how the Pines of Newmarket’s home-like environment creates a family feeling among the residents. Stephanie lives on a small farm in Strafford, NH with her husband and four children. She enjoys reading, watching movies, traveling, and discovering new recipes to try in the kitchen.


Jason Deering

Building Services Manager

Jason joined The Pines team in October 2016 and enjoys taking care of the community as though it was his own home. He has experience in home building, ownership of his own landscaping business and is a security supervisor. In his spare time, Jason enjoys renovating his home, spending time with his wife, two children, black lab Moxie, camping, hunting and fishing.
